Zarona Resources: a gold lion emblem beside a stylised ore face, with the words Resources, Partnership, Prosperity

Zimbabwe · Gold & precious minerals

Gold and precious minerals, developed in partnership.

Zarona Resources is a Zimbabwean mining company bringing operating experience, technical capability and capital together to develop opportunities in gold and associated precious minerals.

Resources. Partnership. Prosperity.

01 / Who we are

Built by operators. Built for partnership.

Zarona Resources was incorporated in Harare in 2026 to explore, extract, process and market gold and other precious minerals in Zimbabwe and the wider Southern African region.

We are at the beginning of our journey, with a clear approach to growth: share risk fairly, choose projects we can execute well, and draw on a team that has commissioned plants, led operations and raised capital.

Our name reflects three commitments: Resources, Partnership, Prosperity. We seek ground and assets with real potential, work alongside the claim holders and communities connected to them, and aim to create returns that are shared and sustained.

  • 2026

    Incorporated in Harare, Zimbabwe.

  • 5 leaders

60+ combined years in mining, engineering and finance.

  • Gold

Primary focus, alongside associated precious minerals.

02 / Business model

Three routes to growth. One operating discipline.

We pursue opportunities where our operating experience can add the most value, matching the scale of each project to our balance sheet.

  1. I. Small-scale joint ventures

    Near-term production

We partner with registered claim holders who have promising ground but need capital, equipment or technical management. Zarona contributes plant, people and process; partners retain a meaningful share of output. Agreements are clear, transparent and registered.

  2. II. Dump processing and tailings recovery

    First-revenue focus

Historic dumps and tailings across Zimbabwe’s gold belts can contain recoverable gold. Reprocessing requires no new mining and carries lower geological risk, with potential to improve legacy sites. This is where we expect our first revenues.

  3. III. Mergers and acquisitions

    Scale, in time

As operations prove themselves, we will pursue larger consolidation opportunities: under-capitalised mines, stranded plants and portfolios of claims that can benefit from professional management and patient capital.

03 / Where we work

Zimbabwe first. The region next.

Our initial focus is on districts where our team has worked and where we have established partner relationships.

Areas of interest

The districts below are areas we are evaluating and where our team has relationships. They are not owned assets or active Zarona operating sites.

  • Midlands

    Kwekwe · Gweru · Shurugwi

An established gold-mining corridor with extensive small-scale activity and legacy dumps suited to reprocessing.

  • Mashonaland

    Kadoma · Chegutu · Bindura

Close to Harare, with good road and power access. A strong candidate area for our first joint ventures.

  • Matabeleland

    Bubi · Gwanda · Filabusi

Historic producing districts with under-capitalised mines that fit our longer-term consolidation strategy.

  • Southern Africa

    Selective expansion

Our technical team has commissioned plants across the region. We will follow proven partners across borders where there is a clear investment case.

Our current focus

  • Pipeline

Evaluating dump and small-scale joint venture opportunities through sampling and due diligence.

  • Compliance

Registered claims, required permits and licensed marketing channels.

  • Near-term priorities

Secure the first two operating partnerships, commission an initial processing set-up and establish steady, audited cash flow.
